Loving You

I didn't lose my mind, I threw it away.

I really won't be needing it anyway.

You intrusively gaze into my eyes

And I tell you everything's fine.

I thought you'd doubt me, thinking its a lie

But you say you believe me every single time.

I've found that when I'm with you

Reason can't seem to get through.

I just can't seem to find my way,

But I'll find your heart for sure some day.

I'm hoping that you'll feel the same

So one day I can give you my name.

Because after all the trials we'll overcome,

I want you to come back to my arms as if it's home.

And you keep saying I won't, no,

But I know I can't just go,

Because I saw the look in your eyes,

And I know you don't want to say goodbye.

If this is what loving you is like,

I don't know why I ran all my life.
