Loving you

Today somebody asked me if I knew you and
a million memories flashed through my mind
but I just said I used to. I want you to know
I love you, I still do and I’ll never stop loving you.
I lost everything when I left you and I really miss you.
I lost my mind and I didn’t have a clue what I said until I lost you.
My stomach drops when I think of anyone else having you.
I took the feelings you had for me for granted, now I’m begging you to take
me back. You really make my life complete.
There’s no one else I really need.
Sometimes I wonder if you still think of me but you’re probably too busy.
I wish you were here laying down next to me.
I still think we’re meant to be
