Loving Yourself

Dear you,

When was the last time you truly smiled?

When was the last time you truly loved yourself?

While the adults and the world are having their own troubles

You are fighting your own demons since a young age

You start feeling insecure and wanting to fit in

However you take no actions because you know that you are not them

They say achieving happiness is the goal of life

But you just keep getting yourself lost of what is suppose to make you happy

The more you run and run from happiness

The more you get lost and lost

Don’t give up hope just yet though

Because even in the darkest time

There is light and it will be your ray of hope

Perhaps we are suppose to get lost and find our own way to happiness

Learn to forgive yourself

Learn to accept yourself

Because how can you love someone if you can’t love yourself

Once you learn, no longer will you be hiding in that shell of yours

Smile and be happy

Because your past self took too long

To figure out just how she can be happy with her own life
