The Lower Mind
I want her, he wants him.
I don't want him, but he needs him.
To be fulfilled, he must have what cannot be attained,
To be content, I must not sufer pain.
Pain of rejection, pain of sodomy, pain of self disgust.
He would risk all of this to pursue his perverted lust.
He cares not that when he is done I must clean up,
That when he is done, I am broken,
That when he is done there is no love,
And I must speak all awkward words spoken.
He only has an id
And I must fix all foul things he will do, does, and did.
I am always trailing right behind,
I am a prisoner to my lower mind.
