Loyalty and Monogamy?

I was wondering, wondering about loyalty and monogamy

About a partner in crime, and a partner for life,

About so many things that make a couple man and wife

There is a creature that fulfills all of that, truthfully

Prairie voles are the most loving monogamous creatures

They mate for life, a bond forever

They love each other however, whenever

Monogamy is more than just a social practicality, it’s a features

You know they say, they’re the Ozzies and Harriets,

Spend time together,

Build homes together,

It’s like love on first sight and right away they marry it  

Not even looking at other mates

A mate is grooming their partner

It’s truly loving and respecting their charmer

And most important their love never fates

The male is protecting his glorious mate,

With a sense of chivalry, it’s like match game

Even a knight would blush in shame

So why don’t we, together, create? So our love no longer has to wait
