Lucid Love

You are the love I ever so dreamed of

dreams which could not be conjured back into memory.

One that lucid dreams ever so wished to live through

for such love has no handle to grasp.

Like the ocean with inevitable drowning

same is with your love.

Yet your blue eyes are the only ocean I am willing to drown in

for all that is within is content.

The truth of beauty lies within you

of which many are cursed and cannot see.

And it is sucha beauty that I am lucky to see.

It is a beauty I am willing to fight for and strive for.

No matter the distance

no matter the vantage point

no matter the past aggressions

I have seen you.

I have seen who you are.

I love who you are.

And if I am the luckiest on Earth

I will love you until the end.

That's the truth of me

and what I have seen in you.

That is the truth to a happy life

and I only see mine with you.
