Lucky

You were so lucky, love

To be born with depression,

To always feel unwanted.

You were so lucky, love!

Praised be to you!

You’re the lucky one.

You deal with anxiety,

Because you’re afraid of being alone,

And you make plans,

But you never follow through,

People wish to be like you,

To be relatable,

Undatable, emotionally unavailable.

If only they knew what it takes to be you.

Would they hope to have what you do?
