Lucky Charms

Cereal in unreal milk

Diamonds in the ash
Time never paused

Our innocence passed

Dont cry over spilt milk

Bleeding marshmellows wilt

Coating saturated satin

in an opalescent nightmare

You remind me of memories

That are still too fresh

Laughter clashing with the softness

Of the still dreaming morning

Our breaths white against the violet sky

I try to forget the past

But your memory haunts me

Sweet against the tongue
But better left to rest
Than dwelled upon

In memory of the Rosendahl's
