Lucky Strike

Sat, 06/28/2014 - 13:27 -- aowalla

A quarter on the street - tails up.

Good luck?

I forget which side belongs to her,

For I am always the last to receive her Fortune.

Free Will is only so free,

Before she intervenes.

Lady Luck, even if she were with this coin,

Would wash herself away from the

Thumbprint of my wishes,

The moment the grimy silver

Became enveloped in washed-out denim.
