Lukewarm

Romans 9:18 New English Translation (NET Bible)

18 So then, God has mercy on whom he chooses to have mercy, and he hardens whom he chooses to harden.

Satire

My door is always open for the ones I really like

My heart is a fortress against misfits and unwanted

I am so available and not like the other parasites

I love my own truth a lot although mostly is slanted

Even an evil man loves his own, but I am really different

The Lord takes care of them who take care of themselves

I won’t bother anyone as long as they’re not a hindrance

That’s the headline in “my” bible as you know very well

So I keep going on as the world around me is dying

I’m the hero where I appear just the way I want too

I like myself and my own a lot, yep there is no denying

The Lord didn’t forgive me much, cause He didn’t have too

He got quite a price when I joined His mighty army

He needed a general and I just volunteered for that

Now I am fasting regularly on baloney and salami

Singing hymns all day long, raising hands and getting fat
