Luna, My Love

If all of the clouds jut began to fall from the sky
Would you marvel at the miracle wondering why?
Or would you dash to the nearest shelter
In fear of being fatally soaked?
Or stare in awe at those waiting outside surviving on hope?
Do you think they know every crevice of town will be a river soon?

If dawns came ever-late, day after day,
As if the Sun just wanted to fade,
Would you be imperially flustered with your late start
Or thank it every time that it stayed?
Or would you smile to yourself knowing it had repeatedly hit snooze?
Could you say you can relate to having a love as pure as light that you dared not lose?
How would you react if the clouds just wanted to whisper,
“It seems the Sun has fallen in love with the moon.”
