Lust at First Sight

My hatred killing mem'ries, tearing through
to doorways closed and barren. Blissful days
to broken nights where I wold think of true
love tales. A lie in hiding, guised in ways
unseen. If lust compares to life in eyes
as bright and shallow, stagnant pools of blue;
when heroes often find. Alone in time,
if time allows, escape I'll try from you.
Forget your savior, Knight will never come.
Love doesn't happen through unblinking eyes
but slowly over months. When feeling numb
you may love blindly, stumbling through the lies.
And now the truth, frigid and dark will write;
what lies love tells...disguised as lust at first sight.
