Lycanthropic Love

If I bite you today, would you love me tomorrow?

If I told you my secret

Would you still call me your lover?

I live in a world that you cannot fathom

Would you believe me if I told you

I might be a werewolf?

Don’t run,

 Please don’t scream

I’m still the same girl.

What?

You don’t believe me?

I bet you think me insane.

So I howl at the moon

For three nights each month

Being part wolf really isn’t that bad

But believe me, when I tell you

The fleas will drive you mad

I see you still don’t believe me

So just swing by my house tonight

That is… if you aren’t too scared

I’m a werewolf

That’s the terrifying truth

Will you still be my lover

If I turn you into one too?
