Lying Diamonds

Our tears are like carbon diamonds

Look so pretty but with ugly origins

And laughter of children ring our ears

Stopping our social silence

Hey-

Control the masses - Cause a riot

Stop-

Think about this moment- it's fantastic

Hey-

Carbon copies- tested dummies

Stop-

Think about this moment

You have trickster tears

They fall so fast

Yet seem to stick like honey

Those pretty little carbon copies
