lying dreams

sometimes i dream of a faraway place

sometimes i dream of outer space

sometimes i'm exploring a dangerous trail

sometimes i'm a bird with a feathery tail

but sometimes my dreams turn dark

and leave a very painful mark

and sometimes their nice, those i yearn

like ice after a painful burn

but there is one thing i always knew

the good ones never happen

and the bad ones come true
