Lying Eyes

Behind these green eyes

(Lies, lies, lies, lies)

I mean.

Behind these green eyes,

Lies the secret to my asphyxiated kingdom.

I may not reveal the secret.

Because Secrets are meant to break,

and Stay broken.

For Secrets.

Are the essence to one's being.

Whether they are to be known or not.

My secret is that I have green eyes that lie.

Lie to your face, your mouth, your soul.

They lie to my mom, my dog, my aunt.

They're the Mask I hide behind.

The mask,

That covers pain and always...

Lies, lies, lies, lies.
