Lying Lion

What sweet words spill from your lips Such a shame they're bitter lies That find their way from my ears, to my heart. Wrapping a chain around it. Trapping it, like a mouse. So whenever you decide. To feed your desires. It's there for you. If it wasn't stuck in your grasps. Do you think it'd stick around? And wait for you to hide your fierce teeth. Why don't you set it free, and see for yourself. Or are you a scaredy cat, hiding under a mane.
