Lyrical Life Lessons

Has poetry taught things to me?

Well, that's like asking if a blind man can't see.

From all the dark places and times,

I've been led through by my rhymes.

When the path looks insurmountable,

My pen shows me I'm fully capable.

Beyond the bad days

Athe world's treacherous ways,

I find a poem's endless love

Can make me fly like a dove.
