Lyrics of Life

I breathe the letters for which I live

I exhale the lyrics of life

No one listening with nothing to give

The world around me indulged in strife

I am deaf to the crowd, blind to society

My mouth moves, but out comes a silent plea

No one hears my pain, sees my anxiety

No promise or hope this world can guarantee

I found love with a pen, every stroke tells a story

Paper found me, a storage for my secrets to be heard

Together they meet, a victorious glory

I am no longer invisible, vision no longer blurred

I write to express life when no one understands

I am heard between the lines

There is power of the words waiting inside my hands

Pouring out my testimonies that he undermines

I write to live, I write to survive

I write to show the world I cannot be deprived
