Macbeth's POV
Cogito ergo sum
that is the only thing I know true
cant tell fantasy from reality, if only I knew
what's done is done, ill things to come
the dead walk, and the witches sing
talking about what the future is to bring
these persuasions convinced me, began to succumb
I must take fate into my own hands, with the help of some
Oh, my wonderful Lady, the eve to my adam
you whisper wise words, my reply is, yes madam
with a bite of the apple, I let fear and anguish enter
in a world with pandemonium at its center
I must complete the deed, yet the dagger is not in front of me
is this a symbol of guilt, a symbol of what is to be set free
my fevered brain must be constructing this false creation
its existence needs no narration, as it isn't there
now I know this murder will be unfair
yet the Lady expects me to proceed with no care
It is done
Not a single noise was heard
but in my head, it was so absurd
the world brought to tears,
my fate sealed, the blood on my hands will now remain
I become death, one of Beelzebub's sacred ordained
Eve speaks of the present as if its a gift,
yet even she would unravel the poisoned curse
ours lives, our touch of reality would begin to go adrift
for now, i sip on my wine,
with a crown on my head,
Banquo's next in line,
my dear old friend
I sent three to find thee
yet when they soundly murder you,
your son Fleance got to flee
Later that night, in a delightful feast,
everything was normal from the west to the east
yet suddenly there he was, the ghost of you, my friend
I didn't plan for you to attend
The miss called me crazy, hallucinating, she said
but I knew you were there, even if you were dead
I rode out to find answers, that fateful night
Beware Macduff, thane of fife,
he would send me to my fiery afterlife
the trees will walk
the invincible becomes vulnerable
my reign as king is insufferable
