The Machine That Malfunctioned
The groans of the machine,
Grow louder and louder.
I stare in awe,
At its magnificent power.
But as I stare,
I begin to frown,
For the same hands that built it,
Also tore it down.
The men must’ve known,
That the machine was too great,
So they worked and abused it,
Until it did break.
It’s a shame that the machine,
Could no longer rumble and roll,
Just so the men,
Could feel in control.
