Mad Society
Mad Society
Where I’m from is a horrible place, the streets are littered and filled with disgrace. Mother Nature cries, tear drops from the sky, as we go on destroying her womb. Her soil is mixed with the blood of the innocents. Her lands divided by borders of hate. The once “human” race has now become an economic and industrial one. Actions are determined by profit, without the well-being of others. The promise land of milk and honey is gone. Maybe it never existed, could it have been neglected? The perfect utopia called Earth, is yet to show its worth. Perfectly built for life…. but currently related to death. Governments killing,
blood spilling,
genocide willing,
maybe we’ll reach the pinnacle of peace. Or have we gone the wrong way, lead astray by wealth and pride, social, political, and classist division. Conditioned to the ruling parties of the elites, whether president or dictator. The results are the same, the immorality is insane!
How long shall the cries of Mother Earth go unnoticed? Or maybe the rain washes away the pain, signifying a new day, a sanctification ritual; the heavens have given us another chance.
