Made in the Shade
For a place where the sun would radiate it's warmth and comfort
I found refuge under a raging storm
Through late night tears, unspoken words, and plastered smiles
That's where it found me
It raged and rumbled through, day by day
How could anyone endure this rampage?
By the eye, I had found the shelter that would carry me through
I had found the shade that would hold me through
In the distance, with the few rays that could pass through the darkness
I became a witness to another storm passing along side my own
Keeping the faith, I prayed that whom ever was under that gloom
Would not edure the same struggles as I had faced
