Made of Stone
Do you want me to be made of stone?
You make it hard to be myself.
Full of double standards and bullshit.
What do you expect of me now?
Perfect?
Lack of emotion?
Does it make you happy to know that you’ve made me cry?
Maybe if I stopped caring it would all change,
Maybe if I looked different.
Maybe if I were her.
If I were made of stone- would I still be me?
I wouldn’t laugh,
Cry, sing, or smile
Be able to do half of the things I’ve done for you.
If you want someone without emotions
Why don’t you save me the trouble?
Go buy yourself a doll.
