My dearest friend

It has been so long

I think its time to mend

I may be wrong

I miss your smile

Your warm embrace

God it’s been a while

Since I’ve even seen your face

I wish we could go back

To that simpler time

dancing in the back of that old Cadillac

We were partners in crime

There’s so much I could say to you

If you want to talk, please do
