Madness Of The Mind

Depression isn’t sadness, It's madness

Not the ones who say I’m so depressed I failed my test

But the cries hidden in the “fines” that cover up the lies

The cries that can not be heard in the light

But in the fright of the night, when the demons hold you tight

You might try to fight them off, but it won’t pay off

For you will learn they are the ones who will lend you an ear when no one is there to hear

You hold onto your demon while your thoughts deepen

The demons you are embracing, while your thoughts are racing, due to the lies your facing, are the reason your heart is breaking
