To Maggie:
She smiles over her shoulder, her perfect blonde hair falls into her face.
I shake my head and laugh at what she thinks.
She thinks she is nothing, that no one sees her beauty.
But I see the whole picture.
I see the glances of envy, the glances of want, on all the faces that pass her.
If only she could see in herself what others see in her.
