The Magic of Art

Logos, posters, creativity, and art

Run through my mind

I can feel it in my heart

This is what I am meant to do.

If I could create something beautiful

My thoughts would transfer to my hands

Like magic

To say that art heals my soul is indisputable.

Shapes and fonts

and the science behind how they influence humankind,

The question is not what art is;

Rather, what it is not.

Those two words

Graphic design

Make my face light up with joy

Having art as a career

Would make everyday worth going to work.

Then, there is pressure

To be a doctor

Or an engineer

Or Something that pays the cost of living.

But I could never do something

That I was not passionate about

I could never give up something

That I could not live without.

Being a graphic designer

Would be the dream come true

The dream I have been dreaming for years

My one desire

To be able to see my artwork

In the world around me

I never had to search for my calling.

My calling simply found me.
