The Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone.
Beautiful strands of blonde floated about
The smell of roses and sage all about.
People would turn and set their gaze,
Their hearts caught in a temporary faze.
Knowing the boys they stilled to stare
for her skin, lips and eyes were fare,
her real self quickly twisting rotten,
the beauty boys saw being quickly forgotten.
She went to class, a glare on hold
piercing her classmates, piercing their soul.
As she sat, her arms crossed tight
Inside of her, there shone a light.
She was once again happy, once again warm
No longer on her lips there sat a scorn.
For she was gentle and kind, quickly flashing a smile
But it wouldn't be so in quite a while.
For our Triple Goddess changed like the sky,
Beautiful one second, than harsh as time goes by.
As the moon waxes and wanes, so does our girl
moody and sweet towards the entire world.
Tho the boys loved her, and most girls adorned,
Other people laughed, mocked and scorned.
'A witch!' they cried, and those pleads were true.
But smiling back, she said, 'Don't make me harm you.'
Most people were scared, and other chuckled back
But the Goddess only smiled before her eyes narrowed back
A growl came from her throat, sharp and deep
the people stopped, starting on their feet.
Backing away, they left the girl alone
For she was loved, hated, yet her crown still shone
