Maintaining my ground

My tendrils, penetrates and bends steel
I'm in a route, footwork intense drills
Stayed ill, well read, remained skilled
The film reel, highlights from big thrills

I let events within my life instill
The appeal to have a higher mindset than the field
That birds eye, the hawk in the sky
Predatory from a distance, my arrow won't miss its

intended target when the words gone fly
Automatic from the stripe the ball doesn’t lie

Unlimited supply of artillery, I'm
never losing focus when behind the enemies lines

Nine times I been walking through the shadow of death
Every time, lost faith yet you never have left
Thought I was ready to take a visit to Lucifers steps
Been close enough to the flames I have fiery breath
