Majesty
We only see the bright side of the moon
It reflects the brightest light it can upon us
We see the stars shining
But they don’t offer much guidance
Do stars ever get jealous of the moon’s light?
I think not.
Though the moon may be bright
The stars hold magic
We just have to be close enough to see it
Is the moon jealous of the stars?
I think not
It takes the light of our sun and allows it to give hope even in darkness
We feel and see the effects of the sun though
We don’t make a habit of looking up and the sun
It burns and scorches the unprepared eye
Yet it sustains all life
Allows growth and hope to penetrate us all
Does the sun ever become jealous of the moon, whom everyone can look at to enjoy?
I think not
Does she ever become envious of the magic of stardust as it rains from the heavens?
I think not.
But her.
She has magic the stars with they had
She has the gentle beauty of the moon, yet more ability to give hope than the moon could ever dream
She has the fierce brightness of the sun, yet the sun wishes for the joy she spreads
The self-believing magic
For the darkness pressing as hard as it can
Cannot extinguish the
Sun, moon, or stars.
Or her.
You.
