Make Up

MAKE UP

Make up a story to tell your mom.

Make up your bed.

Make up a reason your homework isn't done.

Make up your house,

Make up your face

To keep the snickers away.

Smear and smudge,

Streaks of color to protect you.

Make up a lie to tell your self,

To explain the thoughts running through your head.

Make up an excuse for why its ok,

Because if no one knows,

Then its not real

Make up a solution

That we all know wont work.
