Make-A-Wish

According to Make-A-Wish the top wish is to travel, to go somewhere that is nowhere Nowhere you have ever been. I know my wish. It's not a wish a charity could fulfill not with all the money, power, or fame in the world... No I wish to be understood Not in the edgy teenage romance way. I want someone to look my in the eyes and say it's okay to cry No I wish for someone to tell me it is okay not to cry. I wish I could fly. No I don't. I wish I could fall without ever hitting the ground. I wish there was a Make-A-Wish for not so physically broken people, for the kids that write out lists their 100 reasons why. they read the list over and over until all they can see is what they never got. There is no magic. Miracles don't make wishes. Wishes make Miracles, and broken, hopeful people make wishes.

This is an amazing poem! I truly love this poem! I relate to this so much and I really enjoyed reading this! One of my favorite YouTube poets (her name is Hayley Grace), has this one poem, one of it's lines are - some people die at 22 but we bury them at 80. I think this peom relates, there should be a make-a-wish for spirits who have died but the body hasn't. I really appreciate you writing this poem, to shine some like on mental health. I'm so sorry if I interpreted the poem differently then intended but I really enjoyed this poem.
