Make Believe

Perfect my fantasy lie

Never let those demented emotions die

Let myself fall in a dark abyss

So I can only feel tumultuous bliss

Condemn myself to a decade of twisted love

Never let myself rise above

Dream of fantasy lands

Instead I grasp for imaginary hands

Delete my last beautiful memory of you

Because that is the only sane thing I could do

Trust in my lonely fate

But I have a horrible suspicion it is too late.
