Make Each Day Count

“I figure life's a gift and I don't intend on wasting it.

You don't know what hand you're gonna get dealt next.

You learn to take life as it comes at you... to make each day count.”

Make each day count.

That’s what he lived by.

He lived by that ‘till the day he died,

May 19th, 2010.

Make each day count.

He was fifteen, I was thirteen,

When life was taken away from him.

To this day, I still grieve.

Make each day count

Keeps waking me up every day.

Every day I think of him, and what he would say,

If I did not live life to its full potential.

Make each day count.

I intend to,

‘Till the day I die.
