Make Life a Blast

There is this boy I see at school,

he makes all the girls drool.

I've known him since 5th grade,

he would poke me and I'de say "HEY!"

We used to tease and make fun,

until one day it was gone, done.

He used to be my friend but was and still is my crush.

He no longer looks a me,

no longer pokes or makes jokes or says hi.

I always wonder why it ended so fast,

when at the time we had a blast.

Now we are seniors in highschool and prom is coming up.

He looked at me last week in the hallway,

things were looking up.

Then I saw him in another girl's arms today and I realized,

I'll never be his girl and he'll never be my guy.

It's time to look for someone new,

someone who won't ignore me

and will make life a blast.
