Make me Tick

I'm deeply in love,

With this crazy guy I know.

And because I know he's listening,

I hope this chance I don't blow.

His heart was given,

So kindly to me.

I hold it with care,

Please, come look and see.

His heart's being taken care of,

With kind and gentle hands.

We found a common base,

And that bass was within bands.

He's sweet and kind,

In every way.

When I hear his voice,

I get lost on what to say.

He's extremely nice to me,

Sometimes I think it's a trick.

I certainly hope it's not,

Because he's what makes me tick!

I'm just another girl writing poetry to keep me sane. Poetry is one of the only ways I know how to express myself. I enjoy writing and reading on my own time, it keeps me occupied.
