Making of a Man

The things that shaped me, made me and, molded me

Also broke me down, cleansed me and exposed me.

Exposed me to a self I have never known

And I have come to great lenghts to see how I've grown.

A human being only I am,

I've been turned down, let down and abandonned by "them"

The ones I confide in, or was it me?

Did I disregard all trust just thinking of me no we?

Or did I hold the lies that have been told to my eyes

Either way I took it in stride, cried, tears dried

Dried like me when they left me to hang,

But whose fault is it?  Am I the one to blame?

I took their trust as if it was delicate

Will they trust me again.?

The Hell with it!

I have taken my L's right on the chin

But my story, his-story is far from the end

I trust myself and what I believe in

I will succed, this is my season

I pride myself on making a change,

Because change makes dollars and so will my name.
