Malala
You’re the bravest woman on earth-
That’s what they say.
This time, perhaps for the first time, the overpowering they is right.
My notions are not needed, we all know you are a hero-
Anyone who knows of you.
A martyr for the good of the earth, the good of humanity.
But you survived, thankfully.
I’m just dumb, and I cry over reenactments of historical things like this.
God, you live it.
There is so much evil still.
But there are also people like you, and those are the souls who live on.
The souls that touch people deeply and bring them to tears and help them become better.
In that, you are eternal and brave and saintly.
They, once again might not all know, but in time they will feel it.
And that is the sand of it.
