Maleficent
I'm walking
through the woods
talking
to nothing
Alone, but not really
then the feeling
to turn around grips me
I turn and see
an older woman in the distance
darkness surrounds her
but never in an instance
did it swallow her
She turned I followed her
she stopped in a clearing
I stopped too
" Woman…. who are you?"
she turned around
and it was me!
but older and so much wiser
she looked so free
I could not fathom this
How could she have peace?
Where I had NONE!
She held her hand out to me
And calmed my storm
I weeped
Have I finally found my home?
