I always wanted to feel you at full brightness

I wanted you to hit me full frontal

Full force

Run into me

And take me down with you

Into rabbit holes and ocean waters

I’ll be here through it all

You gave me hope wrapped in lace

You’re beautiful tan face

Just inches from mine

And I,

I am so in love with you today

On this beach in malibu

Reading and learning and loving

Drowning in you

I will always love
