Malice

Stop. Don’t. Why not? Why can’t I? You did. Did not! You tell lies. You even tell lies about telling lies. You tell me days ahead that I can. You say I can’t. But you did-Did NOT! Lies Again they trip me up Send my mind and thoughts into a depth. A depth, that I cannot rescue myself from. The hate reaches its boiling point, Like liquid metal over a blue flame. Too much for me to control, to bottle up Terrible but truthful words spring From the vastness behind my lips Hot tears bubble to the surface of the volcano Which are my eyes My soul asks for forgiveness But my mind says to hell with it. Every part of my body thinks those awful words. They escape from my lips. Like a tsunami, the sickening wave of dread and relief washes over me. Too much to ever be taken back. Too much to ever be forgotten.
