I wrote "Mama" as an ode to my mother in honor of Mother's Day. "Rock a bye, lullaby" is a bit of a nursery rhyme that I grew up with. Being that mother's are usually known for singing lullabies to their children I thought it would be heartfelt to compose a lullaby for my mother.
