Mama.

We lay on this bed now, eyes staring infinite. All your words are bullshit but my heart tells my mind what's true. If my heart had palms, they'd hold you. If you existed, I'd cling to you. Tell me you need me too, because the only thing keeping me alive is you. You and your heart. You and the moment when you told me you were sorry. You and the moment when you told me you loved me that last time. You and the stain you left on my heart. If you could hear me I'd tell you I need you. If I could feel the silk of your hair, hear the sound of your voice, feel you hold me when my heart aches like it does, If I could have that just one more day I'd trade my life in exchange. All these tears that swell my eyes are yours to keep. Didn't you hear me say I love you? That is why I weep.
