Mama

Mama

youve been my light

youve been my armor

through times where I wanted to give it all up.

Mama

without you I can not survive

this place alone

is our only place to live and thrive.

Mama

whatever is thrown our way

I know with you

I can make it go away.

Typical love

is what they may call it

the mother/son bond that we share

will always be well beyond it.

Mama

Your smile wakes up my inner soul

your love fortifies me

throughout any other turmoil.

Mama

Im glad I have you here

the situation in life we are now in

will subside in the future that is near.

Mama

there is not enough words to express what you do

Mama the only thing I can possibly say is

I need you.
