Mama
Mama you was never there
Everything i've been through you hadn't come
You was busy poppin pills and gettin high on drugs
Left me at home with no guidance ain't nobody to show
Fuck the man leaving the house on a daily
While you was there on the street gang banggin
That how demarcus and lil bro turned out messed up
But who was there to tuck me in and cover me up?
No one to read to me, no one to kiss me good night
The only sounds i heard were them gun shots in the middle of the night
Wake up blood on the street no witness
You locked up before my 6th birthday
Gone out my life how am i supposed to get
Between now and birth you ain't been there yet
you a stranger nothing to get around
Let me get beat but no scar to be found
Had everyone thinking it was all fine and coo
But in reality i had no one walking me home from school
You not a mama you a stranger in the dark
Can't even look..i lost everything from you but now i restart...
