Mama

She wakes up in the morning with you on the brain,

She washes your clothing and plays with your toy train.

In the evening she kisses your head,

She tells you a story and tucks you in bed.

She wakes up in the morning with a mission on her mind,

To provide, nourish, and be there on time.

When you need her for anything she's there in a flash,

She never questions anything and always throws you a bash.

She goes to sleep at night after locking the door,

She checks one, two, three times to make sure you are secure.

When trouble arises she is your number one defense,

She loves you unconditionally even when you're not convinced.
