For Mama

For Mama

You’ve been my strength

Through all of these years

Through broken bones

And endless tears

You’ve been my strength

Through tragic shows

Through worthless bullies

And friendly foes

When I am stressed

You give me wisdom

When I am down

You sing our favorite party anthem

If I were starving

When you haven’t eaten in days

You would hand me your share

Without even being phased

Through good times and bad

You will always make me smile

Even when I have no hope

You’d be willing to go the extra mile

You’re the reason for my biggest successes

You’re my biggest fan

The calming for my stresses

So this is a thank you

For your unconditional love

And for being the one

That I am most proud of
