Mama Ain't Raise No Fool

Mama ain’t raise no fool She made it clear that “No man owns you” So when you approached me, like you often do I saw right through you. Mama ain’t raise no fool You used the line that she warned me about And the truth is if you can’t except no Then I’m sorry you’ve got to go. She taught me that my body is a precious stone That a man should care for like his own. Mama taught me all this and so much more So you can try to make me forget But those 15 years of training I will always recollect.

It takes me a while to get my thoughts together but i usually write poetry when something big happens in my life good or bad. I was thinking about writing one about me getting ready to go to college.
