'Mama, if only my wish could've came to reality,
Mama, You would be on top of the world,
I didn't want any sort of pity,
But encouragements that I could hold,
I could remember as a little girl,
You would always tell me to believe,
Believe one day I would be a showgirl,
Your sweet words to me were always a relieve,
If I could only dream again,
My dreams would be all about you,
Your love as a mother to me was like a linked golden chain,
Our peace was like a lonely and abandoned bayou,
Mama, if only my wish could've came to reality.'
